2012 Road Work Finished!
All 5 main entrances to our association roadways now have PRIVATE ROAD painted with a limit line showing where the public and private roads meet. Our roads are private property!
6 intersections at: Elvessa & Ziegler / Ettrick & Ziegler / Turner & Elvessa / Turner & Ettrick / Greenbrier & Bemis / Bemis & Ettrick now have YIELD with limit lines painted and 8 reflectors each.
Picture of roadway patch (40' x 6') where the garbage trucks are damaging the edge of the street on Elvessa. 10 inches of asphalt and road base were removed, new road base was added and compacted and 2 layers of asphalt laid.
Picture of large amount of substandard road base removed from under the asphalt on Elvessa which had failed. The edge of the roadway had no road base, just clay soil, which caused the roadway failure.
